No do g in the race, but Clemson and Ohio State put on a hell of a show. Trevor Lawrence is an amazing athlete who stood out among a lot of amazing athletes tonight. He got squished like a bug in the first half, got up and played better. Seems to have that in tangible quality of finding a way to do what is needed to win.

I have no reason to hold disdain for Ohio State. I don’t have an ex that went there. They only played my school once in football, and it was many years after I attended (and even after I literally moved across the country). I’ve been to Columbus once, and thought it was a pretty alright little city with a fun hockey team . But for some inexplicable reason, I love seeing them lose big games .

I was going to say I feel the same way about the University of Miami (FL) . But then I remembered that I do have an ex that went there, and she spent the last month or so of our relationship humping pretty much anyone that walked by.

Maybe I just really don’t like colleges that put an emphatic “THE” before their name...

On one hand, I wanted Ohio State to win to represent the Big 10 (lifelong Iowa resident and Hawkeye fan here), but on the other hand I f*cking HATE Ohio State with the fire of a thousand suns.

Hmm, I think I'm happier with the outcome. I watched Ohio State dominate early in the game and lost interest. Glad to hear Clemson won.

Not sure how Ohio State lost lost a game in which they dominated most of the first half and were up 16-0, and then were still winning with 2:00 on the clock. If the receiver stays on his route on that last play, Ohio state wins instead of a game-ending interception. What a game.....C lemson really pulled one off ....impressive.

Also, despite the LSU route, I think we really had the best four teams here for the playoff. Watching these games after the ND/PSU games at noon was like watching teams from a different league.
